Actimar is one of the Brest partners of the Preventing Plastic Pollution project. The start of the Tour de France in Brest is an opportunity to communicate on this project aimed at improving the quality of transitional waters in the France (Channel) England zone. A stand dedicated to this project, open in the Fan Park area (Place de la Liberté) from June 24 to 26, raises public awareness of plastic pollution and promotes the commitments of sports associations.

Actimar is participating in this Interreg project by setting up ocean modeling systems, and a demonstrator for calculating plastic drift at sea, in the Bay of Brest, the Bay of Douarnenez, the Bay of Veys, and the Bay of Plymouth in England.
