Actimar operates the biogeochemical model ECO-MARS 3D of Ifremer for studies carried out in partnership with Ifremer and Onema. These studies assessed the loads of nitrate and phosphate not to be exceeded to achieve good ecological status in the French coastal areas in the Channel and Atlantic. They contribute to better understand the processes linked to the eutrophication of coastal areas.
